Rotaract Leicester

We are working with a local university and one of their students to launch a new Rotaract Club in Leicester.

What is Rotaract Club About?

Rotaract Leicester brings together people aged 18-30+ to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through enterprising activities.

In communities around the world, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action.

Just like Rotary, Rotaract is a great way to expand your social circles and meet new people. Rotaract is a diverse, lively and vibrant organisation with people from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Rotaract gives you the opportunity to connect with others, volunteer for service projects, and raise funds for good causes. As well as making a difference, Rotaract is about being social and having fun.

By working together, you can build new skills, enhance your personal development and undertake leadership roles all of which can be great for your CV and employability.

As a member of Rotaract, you also have the opportunity to take up dual-membership and join a Rotary club as well, giving even more opportunities to make a difference.

Rotaract Preconvention.

Through its association with The Rotary Club of Leicester, the new Leicester Rotaract Club will give students (and other people aged 18-30+) a fantastic opportunity to meet a fantastic group of business and community leaders.

Develop lifelong connections

With ‘Service above Self’ being a core value, Rotary and Rotaract are not intended as business networking organisations.

However, people work with people they like, and Rotary and Rotaract provides you with an excellent opportunity to build future connections whilst helping others and having fun –business networking with a very small ‘b’.

Where else could you sit, talk, and have lunch with:

  • A legendary Rally championship navigator, Monte Carlo Rally regular, and founder of the International Rally Drivers Club (IRDC).
  • A leading history professor and author of a UNESCO report.
  • The former Managing Partner of one of the UK’s leading firms of Property and Construction consultants.
  • The former Managing Director of one of the UK’s leading firms of motor accessories supplies, who then set up his own a specialist marketing firm and tripled their first client’s turnover in just 3 years.
  • Owners and directors of numerous successful local businesses.
