Club Sporting Events

Each year Rotary clubs in our district compete for an indoor sports trophy. The battleground is usually a pub with a skittle alley, darts, dominoes and the like. Members and spouses gather to take part in this knockout competition, which is light-hearted and an opportunity to meet Rotarians from other clubs nearby.

There is a district golf competition in which teams of 6 a side vie to reach the finals day in September. The venue for the final in 2018 being Burghley Park GC near Stamford.

There is a district quiz held each year, in which teams of three represent the club in the early rounds, and if successful progress through to a final round held towards the end of the year.
